Alpine/Downhill Skiing and Snow Boarding (called Riding)

The 23rd Annual Ski Bonanza (Presidents’ Day Weekend) in February 2010 offers two exciting venues: world-class alpine skiing in the Colorado Rockies at Cooper Mountain and the following ski areas in Aspen: Aspen Mountain, Snowmass, Buttermilk and Aspen Highlands. We will also have non-skiing activities and adventures! The “Power of Four,” as Aspen is widely known, has over 100 lifts with 25 miles of groomed and non-groomed ski trails. If you have never skied or snowed boarded before, there are ski schools and beginner slopes. You will be able to advance quickly to a wide range of gentle runs. For the intermediate skier or rider there are a variety of trails to practice your technique. Forthe expert there is always “AJAX” to challenge even the best skier or rider.
Non-Skiing Adventures
Ski Bonanza also caters to individuals with other interests, including snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and horse-drawn sleigh rides to a four-star restaurant, shopping, sightseeing, massage and spa activities, as well as enjoying the world-famous Glenwood Hot Springs.
