Now the Details
The 25th Silver Anniversary Ski Bonanza over President Day weekend, February
17th – 20th offers exciting skiing and snowboarding on the well groomed and
non-groomed slopes, trails and bowls of Aspen featuring the best snow in the
nation, along with two new activity venues during the weekend. Coupled with
this are fun non-skiing adventures for those for whom Green, Blue and Black
are only colors. Alpine/Downhill Skiing Ski the advanced, intermediate and
beginner trails of Aspen Buttermilk, Highlands, Mountain and Snowmass set
into the spectacular setting of the Maroon Bells mountain range. With over 300
inches of annual snowfall, cutting tracks in the deep powder is too much fun
in America’s best skiing and board riding. Being a first time skier is no problem
with ski schools and beginner slopes available to insure you advance quickly.
Intermediate skiers and board riders will have your choice of 50% of the runs at
all four areas. And for those advanced skiers, if you haven’t met the challenge
of “AJAX”, this is the trip, this is the time. Non-Skiing Adventures Those nonskiers
also have a great time off the slopes as well. The Ski Bonanza invites you
to kick up a rooster tail on a snowmobile, enjoy the serenity and beauty of the
mountains while making tracks snowshoeing, or the fun of a horse drawn sleigh
ride to a four star restaurant. Break out the camera for sightseeing and shopping
or enjoy a relaxing spa and massage. Also make time to enjoy the internationally
famous Glenwood Hot Springs.
